Hello everyone.
The TVPaint 12 User Manual is finally online. You will be able to access it here:
https://doc.tvpaint.com/
As I mentioned in another topic, it is still a work in progress since the aim was to completely rewrite the previous documentation and make it easier to follow through clearer formatting and GIF images.
A good part has already been rewritten and most of the new V12 features have been documented. However, the rest of the documentation is identical to the v11 one in content for the time being, save for screenshots which are missing on some pages.
French, Japanese and Chinese localizations will also be implemented in the future as well as a search bar function.
We will keep on working on the new User Manual and will try to complete it as soon as possible.
You will still be able to access the previous TVPaint 11 User Manual by clicking on the footer link of the new documentation or using this link:
https://doc-tvp11.tvpaint.com/
Thank you.

I am glad to see that work is continuing on updating the documentation.
Regarding screenshots and GIF images to make things clearer: may I suggest again that certain FX Stack tools such as Scan Cleaner and Black & White Converter (also in the section on Handmade Drawings > Clean Up) should emphasize how combining the Black & White Converter with Scan Cleaner can be used to remove red or blue colored pencil lines (underdrawing/construction lines) from scanned drawings, because in the previous documentation it was not explained how Black & White Converter FX can be of use in that task. See my previous post with explanatory screenshots here:
viewtopic.php?p=132150#p132150
(if you need them, I can provide you with clean screenshots without the explanatory notes I added to the screenshots)
So, using a combination of FX in the stack: Black & White Converter
+ Scan Cleaner , it is possible to prepare scanned hand drawn animation for coloring in TVPaint. I would also suggest adding a note to the documentation that if at all possible when scanning drawings with red or blue colored pencil underdrawing/construction lines it would be best to use a red channel filter or blue channel filter (depending on the colored pencil used for the underdrawing) within the scanning software to eliminate red or blue lines at the scanning stage , which means that there is less work for TVPaint to do in preparing the scanned images for coloring.

Hello David,
Those are excellent suggestions, thank you very much. I would be glad if you could provide clean screenshots without the added notes, indeed (or even better, the whole project you have used so I can redo the screenshots with V12's interface).
Also, please rest assured that I am keeping an eye on all the previous suggestions that have been made in the "user manual mistakes" topic when rewriting the documentation's content.

Mistakes in Manual:
Beyond spelling mistakes, I suspect some HTML strangeness, in how the mistakes below (and mistakes actually in manual) are displayed???
Arithmetic operators and examples
-negative: 18 -> -18
**exponent: 18**3=181818=5832 __________ should be 18*18*18 NOT 181818
multiplication: 183=54 __________________ should be 18*3=54 NOT 183=54
/division: 18/3=6
+addition: 18+23=21 ____________________ should be 18+3=21 NOT 183=21 AND NOT 18+23=21
-substraction: 18-6=12 __________________ should be subtraction NOT substraction
Logic operators and examples
&&an: a&&b should be __________________ should be &&and: NOT &&an:
||or: a||b

Hello Sven,
Thank you for pointing this out. I finally have some time to focus on the manual again. I have done a small update on Guides, added the V12 changelogs and fixed the mistakes you have mentioned.
I will resume working on it and update it as frequently as possible.
