Useful when wanting colours from references outside TVPaint's interface (specially with TVPaint Standard and no Image Library). Well, at least until I saw D.T. Nethery's useful tip on importing references into the mixer.

The default shortcut to enable to picker is LeftCtrl + Cancel. The Cancel key is also called 'Pause' or 'Break'. Depending on the keyboard, it could be located at the top right hand corner of the keyboard, on the same row as of the F1, F2, F3, etc keys.

Rickrack
Not a colour picker but a colour palette generator. Amongst other things it can:
- create palette based on harmony rules
- import and export Photoshop or GIMP colour palettes
- generates colours from an image
- can save multiple colour palettes within the interface
