grouping / organizing custom panels

Post by Peter Wassink »

A modest request.

i have quite a large collection of custompanels.
it would be nice if we could organize them by having folders so i can group them in categories.
Much like the "windows" pull down looks now.

+1 Similar folder system might be useful for organizing custom FX Stack files as well.

Very good idea.

I want to do a rework of how Custom Panel work and make them easier to manage at some point during v12's life cycle, I am adding this to the list of things we should do :)

This is part of my ongoing request to make it easier to backup TVP with all settings and be able to export it so another artist could use those settings - not like a complete installation, but project-related. It should be possible to import a subset of custom panels and FX settings without having to create a complete new configuration (and lose my personal prefs in that way) - just add it to my personal work space.
