How to create a multi-line text?

Hello,

I recently got TVPaint Pro and am struggling with using the 'text tool'.

I would like to make a simple text box that says something like:

thanks for watching!

fighter1_name vs fighter2_name
by: ghin
---

I see the text tool but that just makes a brush of the words I am trying to write down, but is there no 'text box' tool that I can use to insert a credits page for myself? Thank you for your help.

Hello, in the FX menu, you can add a "simple" or multi-line text to your animation.
Indeed the Text tool is more of a "text brush", as you wrote.

Select the text tool from the toolbar then click and drag to create a text box and type or paste your text into the box, and it will automatically create multiple lines on the other hand, you can get more information about this from the official documentation.
