Totally forgot to show off what I did this summer (and last summer as well), I'm quite busy with commercial work.

https://www.kindernothilfe.de is a well-established german charity, they organize projects all over the world to help children. To raise awareness for their case, for 3 years now they did "Game Changer Week" which is an online event targeted to 15 - 25 yr olds. They tell stories (3 last year, 2 this year) as an escape room style game, located in the parts of the world where they do their projects. From last year on, I was the production designer, producer, director and main animator of the animated parts of these games. Script, voices, and post production were done elsewere. Last year I had a small team (2 experienced animators, and 5 first year students), but the scripts were much too long, in the end we churned out about 88 minutes of animation (not really good one) in 3 months. But this client is a gem, they learn from mistakes, so this year it was only 2 stories, and much shorter, so I did one story all by myself and the other, placed in Greece, together with Rachel Romanowsky. Some scenes run over a photo BG, but there were lots of places where taking pictures was prohibited or impossible, so I had to invent a lot.

This was a first for me: I never before had to storyboard something for portrait mode - it's supposed to be watched on smartphones, and give a real impression what it's like to be a drowning refugee between Turkey and Greece. You can have a look at the animated parts (sorry, only german dialogue) here: https://knh.canto.global/b/MOJHF. If you really want to play the complete game, go https://gcw.kindernothilfe.de.

All character animation done in TVP, camera work in Moho.
