Auto-Save improvement

When I have Auto-Save enabled (I set it to save every 30 minutes) it auto-saves every project open in TVPaint , whether or not changes have been made on the project. If I have multiple projects open in TVPaint , but I am only working on one project for an extended time period it becomes somewhat annoying to pause in my work every 30 minutes while TVPaint auto-saves each open project.
Is there a way to improve the Auto-Save feature so it only applies to projects where changes have been made in the interval since the last change was made ? For example, if I have 7 project tabs open in TVPaint, if I have only made changes in two of those projects in the past 30 minutes since the previous auto-save, can Auto-Save be programmed to bypass the other open projects where no changes have been made since the previous save ? (because no changes were made since the previous auto-save there is nothing new to save. So it seems like Auto-Save should only be applied to any project where changes have been made since the previous save to avoid redundant saves and the longer work interruption that occurs during the saving process.)
