Importing image to project deletes all other layers

Hi!
I have a problem with importing, both single image and sequences. I didn't use to have this problem, albeit I haven't used TVPaint in a long time, BUT nowadays when I try to import an image/sequence into my current project everything else that is already there, all my layers gets deleted! I tried creating a new animation layer before importing, I tried checking and unchecking boxes in the dialog box that appears, but no result. Is this a glitch or am I doing smth wrong? Thanks!

Just a guess: in the Import window, you can check "layer" or "new project". Did you check the right one?
