Hi,
I noticed that I'm more often accidentally working in "the wrong layer" since using TVP 11.7.
It seems to be harder to select the layer you want, when working fast. So when I think I have selected a layer, it happens a lot that it did not select it after all, and I'm still working in the layer I worked in before I tried to switch.
Maybe I don't remember it correctly, but was this behaviour different in previous versions of tvpaint? In previous versions I think I just clicked a layer to select it wherever I want, but now I can only click below a layer to select it.
Maybe I'm wrong, or maybe I just have to get used to it. But has anyone else noticed this?

Nobody else has this issue?
I keep working in the wrong layer constantly.
TVPaint team, did anything change the way selecting a layer (make layer active) works?
Thanks!

Re: Selecting layer mistakes TVP 11.7
I notice this behavior occasionally (in previous versions, too) but I can't reproduce it consistently enough to make a screen capture of it . I tried over and over to reproduce the behavior today in an attempt to screen capture an example , but I could not do it. But it has happened to me in the past and here is one theory I have about it: I think the occasions when it happens may be caused by clicking on the frame area under the layer name instead of clicking on the layer name. I can never reproduce the issue if I always click on the layer name (so it is highlighted),but I've noticed the issue happen from time to time if I click on the frame area under the layer name. I'm not 100% certain this is what causes it , but this is what I suspect. The fact that I can't consistently reproduce the behavior , that it seems to happen randomly , means that it could be something else.
A similar issue was reported here: viewtopic.php?p=124477#p124477 and here: viewtopic.php?p=95689 .
I suspect these issues are related.

Thanks for the responses!
I mostly select (make active) my layer by clicking on the frame I'm working in. But clicking ON the frame itself does nothing. I have to click underneath the frame to select the layer. Take a look at my screen capture.
If I want to select multiple layers I found out that clicking on the thumbnail all the way to the left (underneath the layer name) is the best option. I use this a lot
