doubleclicking in windowsexplorer

When I doubleclick on a project in windowsexplorer, windows can't find the tvpaintprogram, so I have to start-up tv-paint first en then load the project I want.
It's not a major problem, and maybe somewhere on the forum there is a solution already, but I can't find it.
Does anyone know how to solve this?

oh, I think you have to learn to windows what app. to launch for this type of file the first time,
I mean with a right-click on a .tvp file, choose "open with...",
browse to find your tvpa.exe, then check on the "always use this application ..." gadget,
+ "OK" (see pict., sorry it's in french).
it should work, and the next time, a double-click should open TVPA automatically.

thanks

Zigotto, thanks a lot, it works.
At first tvpaint.exe wasn't shown at all in the list you mentioned, but I browsed till I found the tvpaint.exe
Still, shouldn't TVP 'learn' this to windows during the software instalation? Most programs are recognised immediately after installation.

Yes, it does register it's .tvp extension with windows.

BUT, nvidia uses the extension for some of their files,
and when upgrading your driver, POOF!, TVPaint's file association is gone :(

Sad.

"BUT, nvidia uses the extension for some of their files"

Right, I found out I have an Nvidia card, so that explains it.
