Subpixel and Hover Click Feature solution?

Hi, I always thought it was a bug that the Hover Click will be disabled when I have Subpixel checked, but then I found out it isn't. It's a bit disappointing that I cannot have both features together.

So my question is: is it possible to assign a shortcut for Subpixel? So that I can draw a smooth line in a small canvas ratio whenever I need but still I can switch quickly back to non-subpixel mode so I can still hover click. Or any other convenient solution?
