Can't start the software due to error

I bought TVpaint about a year ago, and it's been working fantastically, but now suddenly I've started getting this error when I try to start the software:

I don't know what is wrong. I went to the license depot and made sure it was activated, and i looked in codemeter where it said it was activated, but it still just had the same error when I tried to start the program.
I tried deactivating and reactivating my license, and I still get the error. I've already tried restarting my computer. I also tried installing a newer version of TVPaint to see if it would fix the issue, but it was the same, so I uninstalled it again.
I'm very grateful for any help with this!

(update with system information etc, thank you slowtiger for pointing out it should be added!):
I hope I'm including the right information here,
OS and version:
windows 10, version 20H2.
OS architecture: 64 bit,
CPU type: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4460 CPU @ 3.20GHz 3.20 GHz, 8GB RAM.
I'm using TVPaint professional edition 11.5, 64bit.
My tablet is a Intuos PT Small, driver 6.3.45-1

Could you please post here what two do?

I have students suffering the same problem...
the depot says the license is active but the error still pops up...and they are stuck now.

#edit

This has been resolved by reinstalling the license depot.
apparently an OS update messed things up.

Hello Peter,
If the license activation doesn't work in the License Depot, we suggest that you:

- check if the Codemeter driver is installed and running, the only compatible version being the one included in the TVPaint installation package
- reboot the computer, if it hasn't been rebooted after installing Codemeter
- clear the browser's cache
- try using another browser, as some addons can sometimes block some Codemeter components

100% of activation issues are resolved by one of these 4 steps ;)
