clone stamp

Long ago, with the help of Elodie, I (or I better say Elodie) created a tool similar to the stamp tool in Photoshop. With this difference it can stamp things from one drawing to another drawing. This is the TVPaint tool I use the most in my workflow. i.e. to copy the feet over to another drawing when a character is standing in place, or to move a part of a drawing a few pixels over when I misplaced it a bit. Don't know why I did not share this before...but here it is:
clone stamp.tvpx
(52.5 KiB) Downloaded 539 times
It looks at the shape settings. So if shape settings is set to previous image it looks at the previous image, if it's set to spare it looks at the spare, etc... With the x and y values you change the position. Just play with it. I'm sure you will love it.

Hi
Could you write (or show) a bit more?
I'm interested in getting this working for me.
Thanks
John

At first I was wondering how this Clone Stamp custom brush is different than the built-in "Panto" mode ?

But one thing I like about this Clone Stamp tool is that the preview of the brush is more clearly defined.
Other than that it seems to function the same as the Panto mode.

I notice that the default size of the Clone Stamp tool is set at 400. I would usually need to make that somewhat smaller.
