FX Stack management

Suddenly it seems I can only have one FX saved per scene. This just started this week, after years of having multiple effects saved in each scene. For example, if I have a motion Keyframer effect, and I choose to create another, it replaces the one in the stack. I can't keep both. If I choose a color adjust effect, it replaces the motion keyframer effect. Only one effect can be present. This means that I am losing all of my effects, even those that used to be present in older scenes. I am using two systems - Imac Catalina, TVP version 11.5 (brand new TVP), and Imac 2015, Mohave and TVP 11.0.9. I opened older scenes and the problem is in all of them. Any ideas?

in older versions of tvpaint you could switch the FXstack to only allow one FX.
Maybe you set the FXstack to that setting in your older TVpaint version?
(it doesn't make sense really, but that's all i can think off)

I think that's it. I see a place where I can select multiple of single FX. Thanks!

This reminds me of a correction that needs to be made to the User Guide , on this page:
https://www.tvpaint.com/doc/tvp11/index ... ails-reset
There is some confusion between the names of the FX Bin menu vs Preset menu. FX Bin may be used for saving or importing/exporting individual FX parameters , but if you have an entire "stack" of multiple FX you must save it to the Presets menu (or export/import the stack via the Preset menu)
In the user manual it says:
"The FX Bin menu for the entire stack works in the same way, but may be used to add, import or export an entire stack."
But what is meant by
"FX Bin menu for the entire stack" should actually read
Preset menu .
.

You're right, I'll fix this as soon as I can!

Also, the hover prompt for the Preset button and the hover prompt for the FXBin button are the same, implying they work exactly the same, but in reality, the functionality and the bins they manage are totally different. (really, the prompts don't usefully inform in ether case).
