Audio problem

I seem to have a problem with the audio. It does not seem to play when i hit the play button.
I only get sound when i set Audio Jog to 'always'. And even then i can only scrub, not play. I tried mp3 and wav. , both files that never gave problems before.
I've loaded scenes that worked fine previously, but have the same behavior
as stated above.
Some new button I'm overlooking perhaps?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm kind of in a jam right here. :(
Thanks!

weird ... Mac or PC ?

- have you a layer longer enough, I mean at least as long as your soundtrack ?

- did you get the yellow wave form displayed in the Layer window ? (see pict.1)

- have you the sound gadget enable (enlightened) ? (see pict.2)

TVP Animation (Pro) can load standard .wav and .mp3 file thanks to the system library. All other format are not default one (and since it is an animation software) we only support standard audio formats.
