Hi,

I tried installing the full version of tvpaint and ran into with sentinel drivers: The driver installation wizard never appeared. Odd was that it was still listed as installed feature under modify installation dialogue.

Removing the driver and adding it back had no effect on anything :(

Would it be a good idea to just for sure to include separate dongle driver package on installation cd?

My system is windows xp with servicepack 2 and all latest patched installed.

hi Sakari, and welcome!

you can try to install the last sentinel driver (v.7.3.3)
directly from their install.exe file you will find on safenet site :
http://safenet-inc.com/support/tech/sentinel.asp

also check your usb ports,
I've noticed many of dongle's troubles come from USB disfunctioning.

Dear Sakari,
I've just sent you an email to see with you what the problem could be.

If checked, you will find the Sentinel driver installer into the folder "Safenet" in your installation repertory.

Thanks for the link :)

I actually managed to find those drivers (url) by myself. I just thought it would be nice to drop a message here to inform that there could be a problem with the installer.

I think that the installer may have crashed? The typical 'finish' (on the top of the page 7/21 in "Getting started with TVPAP.pdf") button that usually appears after installation never appeared.

Anyways, my TvPaint is now working as it should :)
