The last time someone claimed automatic inbetweening was here: http://www.tvpaint.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=6426. We even gave him some scenes to test. Well, the results weren't very convincing, and he chose to delete all of his potings. Butu later on page 5 someone else was stepping in, with a much more convincing result.

this software in my opinion could be usefull for non-character 2D animation.

its not something to incorporate in tvpaint.

The problem with auto inbetweens is it often makes the animation look lifeless. But it would be helpful for certain types of animation.

But if we use this tool WARP for animation of spots ...
then the possibilities of TVPaint offer one more flexible way
of creation AUTOINVETEENs. At the end of the creation of such
an animation .. we still have to do a cleaning line.



Conclusion.
If you are worried that there is no concept like bone in tvpaint, then this is not entirely true.
There is no VECTOR line that preserves quality (As in Harmony) ...
but there are spots that need to be clean up in each frame.
If you are a big fan of classical animation - you will do cleaning up.

Developers tvpaint could make the tool more fast and convenient in use as in this video. As shown here.
But we use ..FX STACK
1. open fx stack
2. add motion keyframer
3.load sourse
3. sorry .. this is not one button .. ok
