another weird question, sorry... what is the purpose of making panning or scaling changes, for example, only having to "undo" and then "select all images" and then "press enter" to apply? i am just curious what the advantage is here for performing a task this way as opposed to two steps (select and apply). i know there is a good reason, i just want to know in order for me to be a TVPaint master!
thanks!

the undo is to make sure all of the selected frames are equal again.
for instance when you want to do a pan
you make the pan on one frame, undo, select all, and enter.
if you skip the undo
the active frame (on which you performed the first pan)
will be panned twice!
so undo undoes the pan, all frame are back in start position
and when you now double click and enter all frames will be panned exactly the same.

the transform tool don't necessary need an Undo if you don't apply it before the selected range of frames is done,
set the X, Y panning, Scale, Angle, with the preview gadget checked,
scrubb to see if it will be OK for all the range, then select the range of frames, and hit "Apply" (or Enter key)
