Exporting Light table?

I know I posted here before, but I've been trying to simulate the light table in my export, and I fail every time. I'm a very inexperienced TVPaint user, so I'd love some guidance or newbie instructions. I need this light table effect as an aesthetic to my animation.

1 duplicate the layer with the animation 2 times ( Right Mouse Button on the layer thumbnail)
2 re-color each of the 2 duplicte layers using alpha lock
3 duplicate each of the re-colored duplicates layers for the number of lightable images you need
4 off set these copied layers on the time line
5 adjust their opacity

I wanted something like this for a while, so I wrote a script which I can share that might help you too. It's one button called "Trails" which is posted here in the Trails.tvpx file. Download the tvpx file and then open TVPaint and drag/drop it into tvpaint.
Here's what my first test looks like:

To use Trails, just set up your animation sequence, then make sure you are on the layer you want the effect on and press the Trails button. You will be asked to select the Opacity for the "ghost" frames. Enter something like 25 and press OK. The trails are generated automatically. If you want to try another Opacity, just press UNDO and try again. Let me know how it works for you.

Try Svengali's "Trails" script he uploaded above , but you also might want to try combining it with the
Stretch - Interpolation function in Increase Layer Length . You can get some nice effects by splitting certain portions of a layer, then Stretch and apply Interpolation, to get "ghost images" between drawings . It can be tricky to plan the timing precisely, but experiment with it and you might get some interesting results.
