How to STOP (esc) Colorization on CTG layer

In the midst of a very large scene , 900 + frames ... already colorized with CTG layer . I had to make a small change on two drawings (reverse those two drawings , because they were out of order) ,but when I made the change TVPaint started to recolorize the entire layer not just the two frames I changed . There seems to be no way to STOP the colorization process once it starts . Pressing ESC did not help. Waiting for it reapply the colorization to every frame on the layer (but only two frames were changed) took 10 minutes.

Is it possible to stop (esc) the colorization process once it starts ? How do I do that ?

EDIT: oops , stupid me. I forgot to toggle off the Apply Changes button before I made the changes on my drawing layer.

But I still think the esc key should stop the colorization process if it is accidentally started.

I'm not sure it can be done, since there is no "apply" button (you can just turn the automatic application on or off). May be it can be optimized so it just detect changes, but I think it is already optimized at its higher level.

Thanks for the feedback anyway :)

EDIT : confirmed by the dev team : not possible in this engine.

Absolutely! The CTG layer can often be a calculation intensive process and as you said Elodie without a START button. It would be great if there could be a shortcut (or even better Escape) to pause it's rendering.

Oh sorry, I didn't noticed we aren't in the feature request section.
