Reference this topic: http://forum.tvpaint.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=10085" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

In TVP 10.5 it was possible to rename an instance just by double-clicking the instance , which brings up a panel to rename the instance.
In TVP 11 this function does not exist anymore.

The request is to restore the function from TVP 10.5 that allows the user double-click on an instance to rename it.

I will see if it can be a preference instead. Many people also find this behaviour as an annoyance.

I see, though I never manage to double click a frame by mistake, maybe somebody does... :)
thanks, an optional compromise would be really nice and helpful...

Yes, I think that is a good solution, so that those who want this function can enable it in Preferences, and those who find it annoying can disable it.
