young people use to speak "shortly" (less words > less errors), don't you ?

I'm not young and I use all the words I can remember at the moment. When I was young it was against the law for young people to say anything.

Now look at this below; the French is just about 20% longer, wouldn't you say?

"I HOPE THAT YOU CAN WAIT FOR ANOTHER 2(+) YEARS"
"J' ESPERE QUE TU POURRAS ATTENDRE ENCORE 2 ANS (VOIRE PLUS) "

Now look at this below; the English is becoming about 20% longer than the French now !
(OK, I've changed the sentence a little bit)

"I HOPE THAT YOU CAN WAIT FOR ANOTHER 2(+) YEARS"
"J' ESPERE QUE TU POURRAS ATTENDRE ENCORE 2 ANS (VOIRE PLUS) "
"I HOPE THAT I CAN WAIT FOR ANOTHER 4(+) YEARS TO SEE SLOCUM FINISHED"

Just 2 + years. We should have a race with Hisko.

So powerful ! I particulary like the one with e policeman and the little girl in the fire. This leaned (leant ? I don't remember if it's an irregular verb >_<) point of view reinforce the tragedy of the situation. And I do love the man's expression. Really good works !
