Thanks! It works now.
The interface looks a lot clearer now with the cleartype fonts!

TVP Animation 9.5.16 is now available :

-it fixes japanese fonts ( windows )
-it fixes a bug in the Project Audio playback
-In the settings panel: add the choise to use wintab or Ink ( windows )
-Fix a bug in the filebrowser
-fix script cmd: tv_readtextfile
So where can I find the settings panel with the choice between wintab on Ink ?

Oh I found it in the "Preferences Panel". There's an option to turn on "Wintab" (right above "SubPixel).

But what does it do?

Edit: Ah, I found some information through a search of this forum.
Apparently it's a setting for tablet PC's. But should it be turned on for those working on good old fashioned Wacom tablets?

Apparently so, because when I turn it off, the tablet (especially the shortcut combination 'alt' with the right mouse click) behaves strangely... That is: it doesn't work when turned off.

So turn it ON, Mike!

It's good to have these conversations with yourself sometimes!
Almost like therapy.

I don't know, but I always heard you need a therapy when you start to converse with yourself, because it's the madness' beginning

I still don't have this problem that Sewie and Peter are reporting but another one: When I leave Wintab on (PC) the Wacom software doesn't see TVP and places another app's settings on the tablet. Only after I heard Sewie's deranged conversation with himself did it occur to me to try to turn Wintab off to see if it would fix the Wacom no-see problem and it did.

Hey, I have the same problem. With Wintab 'on', de Wacom driver does not see TVP amongst it's applications, but the tablet works fine in TVP.
With Wintab 'off' the Wacom driver suddenly does see TVP, but the tablet does not work in TVP; no pressure control and no alt-right click.

BUT, when I turn Wintab on again everything is as it should be in TVP AND the wacom driver recognizes TVP amongs the application...

With some devices like N-Trig touch screen, wintab doesn't works but wintab drivers can be present on the system.
With wintab "OFF", TVP Animation try to use MS-Ink intead wintab but Ink is fully working only since Vista.
On Wacom Tablet, MS-Ink is working but without subpixel capability and we cannot find automatically the best solution between MS-Ink and Wintab library.
With MS-Ink I cannot find how to make the difference between right and left click, you have to live with this.
N-trig device are only present in HP TouchSmart tx2 or Dell Latitude XT, you need to inactivate wintab only in this case.

The Wacom tablet seems to work properly now.
I don't know why but it sees TVP with Wintab and Subpixel 'on'. Maybe the system just needed a reboot...
