A sci-fi/fantasy story set on Mars about girls, queer family and monsters, this short 2D animated film is my major project, the culmination of the end of a four-year Illustration degree at Massey University.

All work was done by Bo Moore, other than the music (pengosolvent.bandcamp.com) and the voice acting (Nina Sumter and Janeen Lansangan). All animation was done in TVPaint, with some editing in After Effects.

Tony wrote:At CalArts I was able to utilize TVPaint to color animations, as well as straight ahead special effects in a reason able amount of time. I believe I was able to meet deadlines because of TVPaints smart tools such as lasso tool features and the filled stroke tool. Although everything was composted in After Effects TVPaint was my main important tool in order to finish my film SLEEP. I thought I would share with you, thanks!
