Color: I agree that The Last Used Tools display is a powerful new feature and I have thought about the color addition to the icons but would like to amend the request so that BOTH A and B colors are displayed - why? Because many of my custom brushes use both A and B colors simultaneously (using Luma Invert instead of Color).

One thing I find disorienting: when a previous tool is reselected, it is moved to front of the queue. In a row of undifferentiated tool icons this makes it very difficult to find the tool you intend to reuse. Once assigned a place in the queue, the tools should OWN that place - easy to remember and reselect...


Concerning Paul's request for extending the information about previously used tools: I am imagining a small display box attached to the bottom of the Last Used Tools grid, and this display box would DYNAMICALLY show other info: size, opacity, etc. updating as each previous tool's icon was hovered over.

Finally, I would most like an option to see the Last Used Tools displayed as a separate TOOL panel that would continuously display ALL the last used brushes and which could be floated/positioned over your work area. This would let you create a set of tools and simply re-select from them at any time in any random way. Perhaps enhanced with an option to save and / reload your own tool-sets... colors and other parameters already assigned.

Sounds interesting. If Show Last Tools was acknowledged as a separate tool panel, It could shift the process of creating a tool-set more towards an "on-the-go" kind of a situation. But I wouldn't know anything about that, I work mostly with what I got, and then I adjust the color and the width. Anything beyond that I don't yet need.
