Same here. Very frustrating. Happens several times each day for me. Any chance of a fix soon?I first search the right layer (scroll scroll scroll) and then I would like to move the timeline cursor to a frame around 146 by clicking on the timeline. But then all of a sudden the timeline is back to layer 1 and I lost sight of layer 56. So I have find the layer again.

I can't believe these issues about layer scrolling and moving had already been discussed 10 years ago and still no fix..?

Hello, these old issues are currently being worked on, it seems that they were mistakenly taken out of the to do list at some point.
