If the Config is the small wheel button in front of the AVI(internal) as seen in the picture.
It's grey and I can't select it. I'm using TVP10 as well. So I'm not sure why I cant have Config for AVI.

Sorry -- I was thinking TVP 9.5.
So when you select AVI(Internal) go down to Mode and select RGBA>RGBA(32 Bits) That should give you the exact Uncompressed 32 TVP 9.5 has.
Why it won't show up in AE I have no idea since I don't use AE. Then try QT, Compression type ANIMATION, which is uncompressed and unclick Key frame every...

I have been using QT (Animation compression) so far. The only reason I wanted to switch to AVI was because You suggested it will
be better quality. I might try png sequence.

Also, I have been told that I should save my file 25fps. I work 12fps. When exporting QT from TVP do I export 25 or 12?
Or do I export 25fps at the final export ( final export from FCP) ?

I never knew that AE doesn't recognize AVI. If this wouldn't be a weekend you would have been receiving advice from people familiar with AE; I'm trying to be of whatever help I can while the rest of the world is at the shore :) With QT you can ignore what the frame rate says because TVP's export panel overwrites that anyway. But I remember people saying here that it is important to uncheck "every frame" to get better quality -- are you doing that?

Well, The thing is, I'm pretty sure AE does recognize .avi. There must be a different problem.
Especially because when I create the .avi file, the actual file doesn't play at all even before taking it to AE.
So I don't think AE is the problem. It's must be something else.

No I didn't uncheck "every frame" before. I will do that now.
Thank you so much :)

Is TVP 10 standard both 32 bits and 64 bits? If so, which one are you working with? When you say the avi won't play anywhere, have you tried importing it into tvp? Does it not play there either?

TVP10 is both 32 and 64bits. But I can't find out which one I have. Any ideas?
My mac is 64bit.

The .avi doesn't work at all, not even when I import back into TVP.
It's only one frame and it's stretched.
The same thing happened in AE.

I just tested this and can verify what you describe. There seems to be a bug in TVP-10 which involves the import of AVIs. I had reported this just a few days ago about TVP 32 (not 64) and this is why I asked you which one you are using. The only way I can tell between the two is which one I open. The desktop icon tells me that but I don't know how this works in the Mac. Hmm .... maybe 64 doesn't exist yet for the MAC. I think that for now you must stay with PNG image sequences or QT. Sorry that I have nothing better to say. The developers will be reading your thread tomorrow and I'm sure they will put some light on this issue.

I tried but I couldn't find which one it was.
I have tried png sequence and it works perfectly fine. Thanks for all your great guidance.

My Last question
Regarding some of project files which were 1280x720 in TVP, when I want to export it, It allows me to convert it.
So I have converted them to 1920x1080 right here for export. I just thought it would be better to change it in TVP ?
than taking it into AE and change it there.

I think the only way to know for sure is to test both ways. I won't be surprised if they come out the same and at least you will find out what the upresing does to your project. I'd be interested in hearing about it.
