Thank you for introducing my achievements.
ImportXDTS/ExportXDTS custom panels are exchange to
Toei Digital Time Sheet (XSHEET application on windows) through .xdts(JSON) format.

However, since the TVPaint George cannot easily output
the double quotation (") and the Tab key,
the .xdts output by ExportXDTS is currently a text that does not meet the specifications.

I thought there was no need for XSHEET overseas,
so the distribution destination is the Japanese user forum, and the explanation video is Japanese Only.

No Video (because alpha version)

Thank you for introducing my achievements.
You guys are doing a wonderful job. Sadly I haven't seen any studios in the states or europe that know of the existence of xdts sheets, even when I worked at Toei in CG anim I never heard of them being used which is even funnier knowing that it was them who developed it...

We use our own type of xsheets since one of the tools we did, renders only animation frames with motion coming from maya alembics, so parsing the number of frames and passes for our render engine was a must as we animate in Maya but render with an inhouse render engine and then arrange everything with tvpaint.

Also we're working right now on a tool that exports and imports maya cameras and motion into tvpaint.

I am interested in this . However, I don't know how to register for the Japanese user forum. If I'm not registered on the forum it is not possible to download attachments there.

Duncan Studio developed an X-Sheet application for their own use on both CG and traditional hand drawn projects . They're considering marketing it .

Ken Duncan mentioned in the discussion: "A very good animator who works in TVPaint, and who has worked with our X-sheet, wondered if we had the tool available so he could time stuff out better. So...it could be used in several ways. We had intended to market it several years ago...but life got in the way. We did make a "home" version that expires in 30 days...
We'll probably revisit the "selling" of it. "

That looks neat however I coudln't see any of the demo videos :( they're not available.

I was wondering what's the approach for it. On the surface it looks like keyframe pro + an xsheet right?

Have you been able to try it D.T.?

When it comes to the Toei Xsheet it's free to download and use, the exchange format is also text editable so you can script it to match your needs. I wonder if Duncan's xsheet has export options.

I see the video demos are down now . They were up last week. I'm not sure why they're gone now.

I have not been able to try it. As far as I know it's only been used in-house at Duncan Studio, but it sounds like Ken is trying to gauge the amount of interest there might be if they released it .

Yeah, id love to give it a shot.

In the meantime you can download the Toei Xsheet here, perhaps it can be useful:

I wish I had those skills!!!

We're writing a camera data mapper to export camera information from Maya to Tvpaint though we're having some issues with the speed calculation. By any chance is there any documentation on TVpaint cameras?

How did you get it ? As far as I know it is not "on the market" , because there is no way to purchase it . Ken Duncan mentioned a few times on Facebook that he was still considering making it available to purchase , but I don't think that has ever happened .

Ok, thanks for the clarification. I guess he decided not to market it after all.
