And as I wrote in the French part, you don't absolutely need to press Enter : just choose your current tool (pen brush, pencil...) and the change will be automatically done =)

Hm, not on the Mac. If I don't press enter, the handles stay, and no shortcut or tool icon click helps.

Unfortunately it doesn't work like that on the PC either. I still think a simple click on a drawing tool should freeze the off peg image without having to click on Apply.

But well, that's strange it doesn't work like that on your computers O_o

Yes, as I said, I started to write an explanation about the Out of Pegs into the appendix 9.5, but I had to stop it. I will continue it soon. =)

Elodie, that was the way it worked with the earlier betas -- maybe you are still on one of those. Whatever it is, I really think we should go back to the simplicity of not having to make that extra click.

That's what I though but no : I'm using the current 9.5.11 version.
See yourselves (click to see the animation) :
Well, maybe I don't understand what do you want in fact

O.K.; I see what you are doing. You are clicking on the Main Panel's tool icon. That is not the same as as clicking on a custom button or the equivalent hot key. I don't think anyone works with one generic pen. Having to click on that icon is more impractical than just hitting ENTER, or a hotkey for APPLY.

Hey! I just discovered something; Svengali made for me the coolest SWAP TOOL grg. script and using that works the way Markus and I would like it to work. So I'm O.K. now that it works for me too... (ask Svengali; it's a great tool. It allows you to toggle between any drawing tool you make and any eraser you make and you can choose between 6 different tool/eraser sets. You can even assign the toggle button to one of your Wacom buttons. Drawing paperlessly gets easier every day
)

It also works with a personnal tool Paul...
I've chosen the main panel because when I click on an icon, it becomes yellow... u_u

Well, it does, I am finding out as I try all my personal buttons --- EXCEPT FOR the one I use the most, which I cannot understand, because when I tried the duplicate of that same button which is on another tool bar it does work too. Funny stuff.

Nope. Here's the squirrel: The PenBrush tool (which I use 90% of the time) does not always activate the Stroke Icon of the Main Panel. In those cases the personal PenBrush tool will not deactivate the off peg's Transform tool. You are using the air brush tool and all my other tools that work with off pegs are not PenBrush tools, but Pencil.air brush etc. So there seems to be a problem only when using the PenBrush tool.

Wonderful. Been missing this function.
Maybe it's mentioned above and I have overlooked it, but is it possible to rotate the images somehow as well? Can't figure it out.
Edit: Never mind. I figured it out.
I had the little knob off screen before.

note you can custom assign keys for rotating your project (well they are already assigned...but i mean assign to more accessible ones, use CTRL-K and look for zoom>Rotate +15 /-15 )
