Sure they do good work and things move a bit from my side ; today I tested Mandriva spring 2008 (live CD) ; Intuos 3 auto recognise ; and cintiq 12wx work as a simple tablet ( screen shut done) but work well. Hotplug was configured to. I still have problem with Ubuntu or Kubuntu ( even with a complete instalation) . Gentoo don't load it with live CD...

This is not a TVPaint issue. So let wine developers improve it

This is an option that depends on the Wacom drivers. If it does note work with wine it is because of Wine. I think Wacom driver are not fully supported by Wine.
Satrip wrote: If ONLY those two things were corrected, I think TVPaint could say: "It's now Wine compatible" (as the audio software Reaper does.)
It would sure bring more TVPaint users!
If we would like TVP Animation to work on Linux, we will not develop a Wine compatible software but a Linux based software. For now nothing is planed but you will be informed as soon as a new version exists.

Ok Patrice, thank you for this answer. Sure as already said a native version would be much better than a Wine compatibility!
I hope it won't take too long before you plan it

Hello all !
Salut tout le monde !

Maybe a good news :

https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ubuntu ... tablets-ui
