it must be a problem on my side when I try to check for updates, again I get this: (but I could download the update manually)

how do you install the update???
when i run it it asks me for unistall repair or modify...
i selected modify andf nothing gets done...it's still 8.1
instructions?

okay done...i thought that maybe you can install to another dir like say ligthwave where you can run 8.0 and 8.5 incase of bugs etc...
anyhow unistalled and re installed and got it working...
i think it maybe prudent to put some text instructions up on the page though for other users just so they are clear on what they have to do before they upgrade include hunt through their emails for the unlock code which needs to be re entered in the new install.

WMlib.dll missing ?

I've updated my tvpa version (from 8.1.1 to 8.5.7),
but now, when launching tvpa, I get this message (see pict.)
though, after an "OK" , everything seems to work correctly.

Remove c:\Program files\TVPaint Development\TVPaint Animation\plugins\dv.dll
dv.dll cannot be here by himself, Zig, Don't try to customize your configuration !

after verif, I haven't any
dv.dll file in the Plugins folder .
and why the previous version didn't popup the message?
(I've updated in Repair mode).

I found the dv.dll in the
Preview sub-folder, but I don't know how long for it's here ???
anyway, ... removed.
