Interesting. I clicked on Help > About TV Paint and got the screen that shows version 11.7.3 and registration info. If I click on TVPaint Animation > About TVPaint, it still says 11.7.2. So, I'm updated but confused by different versions showing up.

Apart from the info not being up to date and most menu items under 'Help' not working, there really shouldn't be 2 'About' menu items. Same goes for preferences/settings. Just have those 2 items only where they're supposed to be and where users will expect them, which in macOS' case is under the 'TVPaint Animation 11' menu. In my opionion

Yes, I think the "about TVP" is saying 11.7.2, when in fact it is 11.7.3.

Regarding the "Help" menu problem: according to our tests, this seems to be happening only on ARM Macs. Also, one of our colleagues on Monterey has it, but 2 others on Sonoma don't!
Lukas' and fmhansen's signatures don't mention Mac models: do you guys have these?

Hello, and thanks for the update! I'm still finding this version like the previous crashes TVPainat after about 15 min of use. I'm on a Mac studio M2 64 Sonoma. Any fix or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again!

Update 1:
1. So I deleted all TVPaint files from my computer, including going through all TVP files in the Macs...Topbar/Go/ Go to/~/Library/ folders. I checked them all.
2. Next, I uninstalled and reinstalled the latest Wacom driver.
3. Just in case I kept version 11.7.1 which was working and downloaded both to my computer's application folder.
4. The Mac now recognizes TVP version 11.7.1 as the default but I can now open the latest version 11.7.3 without crashes.
5. If I delete version 11.7.1 from my application folder the new version will start crashing.


Update 2: Spoke too soon! Crash happened after about 40 min of use...

I installed TVPaint 11.7.3, but even if I select Japanese in the localization menu, it changes to English.
The OS is Windows 11 Pro.

I tried downloading it for my Android device (Samsung S9 Ultra) but it still says it's incompatible....
Any ideas how to fix it?

Regarding the issue of Japanese words not being converted when selected, is this still under investigation?
Also, the previous android version also had a problem where the characters with an "X" in the middle of □ were garbled when changed to Japanese.

Hello! The TVPaint is still crashing for me on M1 Mac Pro, it's not as often as 11.7.2 but it still crashed once. Not sure of the cause.
