It's maybe because they replaced some bad teachers from the team with some nicer ones.

I made a two days training session for the students last month.
Always nice to see the results
I will do an other one in January.

Yeah, I missed that Mars one. I found it later. Love that look and style too.
AT least three of these I would LOVE to see made into larger projects, or even features. What is wrong with our industry that there is not enough support for this to happen?

Because this industry doesn't decide on artistic merits, but on "can we sell plastic toys with it?".
Oh, and Happy Toy Exchange to everyone!

This topic has not been updated for several years , but the students at Gobelins continue to turn out beautifully crafted animated films , made with TVPaint .
Here is a recent example. (this is worth watching at 1080p resolution in Full Screen mode. For Full Screen option you must click on "Watch On YouTube").
Synopsis : "A young lizard named Clarence steals a precious plane while the whole village is distracted by the greatest concert it has ever seen."
My French is a little rusty , so I don't know exactly what is being said in the dialogue , but I think I can follow the story well enough. This feels like an excerpt from a longer story . The "world" this takes place in seems well developed. I wonder if this is adapted from an existing graphic novel ?
EDIT: oh, I forgot , I can turn on Subtitles to read what the characters are saying .
