Hi there,

I hope you can help me, too. I've got a MacBook, running on Sonoma 14.4.1.
I reinstalled TVPaint and Code Meter but when I try opening TVPaint it keeps giving me this message:

Any idea what I can try to fix it?
Thanks!!

Hello MagKre, it seems that your license container has been corrupted by a third party application.
I am contacting you via email for more info.

Hi there, I'm using a Macbook Pro mid-2019 16" Intel chipset, still on Big Sur 11.7.10 and considering updating to Mac Sonoma, but worried what'll happen to TVPaint.
Any ideas if it's safe, please?
Thanks

I think you'll be ok with Sonoma because your Mac is Intel chip. I think the issue people are having with crashing is on newer Macs with the M1/M2 chips from what I've been reading here on the forum. That said, I'm still on Monterey on a Mac-mini Intel chip machine from 2018, so I can't say for sure based on my own experience , only on what I have observed here on the forum.

Hello,

Yes, you shouldn't be encoutering specific issues with Sonoma and TVPaint. As David said, the crashes seem to be affecting ARM Mac users. We are still trying to pinpoint what the exact issue could be since they seem to happen completely randomly.

TVPaint 12.0.1 is running on MacOS Sequoia Intel iMac, as smoothly as it did on Sonoma.

And what about on 11.7.3 and Sequoia? Has anyone tested if it’s working fine?
