Solo Mode for Soundtracks

Post by NathanOtano »

I need a solo mode for soundtracks in timeline mode :) easier to listen to layered tracks to see what happens and edit them.

I never done much audio stuff in TVPaint, but that sounds as it would make perfect sense.

It's because I'm managing long storyboards with voice actings that lasts from one shot to the other that I have to edit (that's why I made all the scripts here : http://forum.tvpaint.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=10376). I use tvpaint so I can time the keys of my storyboards and animations while setting the sound on top of it without too much back and forth with and editing software. But I agree it's quite a challenge to do it in TVPaint for the moment.

I guess you didn't understand what I want to say: I never used a lot of audio layers, but nonetheless I think it's a really good idea.

Oh no. I just never needed it. Here and there I've done some lipsync, but fortunately someone else does all the sound design for me.
