Hello,
in many today's animations you see objects that are constantly animated with a little "noise". Its hard to explain that.
Maybe you see the Red Bull commercials and you know what I mean. This is a certain style element they use.
I know how to use this with the Auto Paint Stroke Recorder (I can add "noise" when I apply the FX to my anim-layer. But I want to apply this effect to a still image.
There is a stylize effect noise, too. But it creates a different result.
I hope you can understand what I mean

Here is one solution :
First, create a new animated layer, name it "Noise".
Fill all the frames with white colour, fully opaque.
Apply theRendering/Perlin Noise fx, width =15, height=15, with a key z=0 at frame 1 and key z=10 at end frame.
Now you have a noisy animated layer.
Select your main animated layer. Choose the Distortion/Displacement mapping FX. Use Layer Noise as Source.
Select all the frames and hit apply.
Interesting effects can be created if your Noise layer animate smoothly. It can look like underwater scenes.
You can try an animated texture as noise source, like the one described here :
