Re: Share your Interface Look!
I tried loading Emerald Dark and Elmisil Dark and I don't get quite the same look. I am looking for higher contrast to show up the icons. The screen grab below shows what I see. Why is this and which setting in the colour scheme list represents the line that is used for those icons so that I could make them brighter?

I might be wrong, but you probably didn't restart the software as suggested when loading or creating a new Color Scheme.

I've just tried Emerald Dark and after rebooting TVPaint, this is what I get :
//Edit : the result with Elmisil Dark :
(with TVPaint 11)

Re: Share your Interface Look!
It seems to have been a glitch. I set it back to one of the two default themes and then opened Elmisil Dark and it worked. Only thing is, I would like a design which is not quite as dark and which has a more noticeable highlight for selected tracks. I would be happy to design this myself, but I can't get my head around what represents what on the screen without some kind of key. If anyone feels like making one, that would be great. In the mean time, any suggestions for something like Elmisil Dark, but not quite as dark?

The name of the Desktop Background color for highlighting layers is "Background Current".

Re: Share your Interface Look!
So this is the theme I have come up with, based on Elmisil Dark, but with some adjustments to add more distinction for the sliders and the text and the selected layer, which is in green. Here is a screen grab and the theme file, if anyone wants it.

Re: Share your Interface Look!
Hi guys,
I have enjoyed all of these very much. I've put together a zip file with all of the color schemes posted in this thread, as well as screenshots for rapid comparison purposes.
A bunch of the color schemes in this thread have names that don't correspond to the downloaded file name ("mname=Display Name In Dropdown" in the .ini file). I fixed this. I also added the translations of the words 'acier' and 'orage.'
I also added a couple of my own color schemes (pictured below). Just unzip directly into your colorschemes folder. Hope this is useful!
Thanks,
David

Re: Share your Interface Look!
Thank you a lot for this. The only problem seems to be the icons on the preview images on the dark themes. They usually turn bright after applying a theme and restarting TVPaint, but on the screenshots they're all dark, which looks a bit messy on the dark themes.

Re: Share your Interface Look!
Whoops, sorry. I did recall reading in the forums about some visual glitch pertaining to the "simulated preview" that you can do with the dropdown menu. But I hoped I could get a quick pile of screenshots without having to restart TVP 15 times. I guess it's enough of a preview to help someone decide...
For me, the selection of frames is very important to be able to see, so that's why I made my Yellow on Gray theme (and why I selected frames for the preview screenshots). Are there any other "trouble spots" I should be considering when choosing colors?

Re: Share your Interface Look!
Ah ok, yea it can be really annoying to restart it that often. Hmm unfortunately I can't remember the ploblem spots anymore. Some of them revealed them self over time.

Re: Share your Interface Look!
I like to animate with gray space around the drawing canvas so I can see the whole composition and animate faster. BTW: I've learned a lot. You guys are awesome!

Just to test a different tone with a brownish grey theme.
