Re: Excellent image sequence player
Peter posted it a few month ago here.
But it's really a great player. I'm using it on OS X and Windows for reference footage. Would it support sound would it probably replace my other players.

Re: Excellent image sequence player
A problem I have with this player is that I can't seem to get a movie to open in the player so that the movie is displayed full size . Whenever I open a movie (no matter what the original resolution) it only fills a small portion of the screen on the lower left , surrounded by empty black space . See screen shot attached.
http://djv.sourceforge.net/index.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; shows the movie filling the whole screen , which is the behavior I would expect .
Can anyone tell me how I can get my movies to display so that they fill the whole screen ?
EDIT: never mind, apparently this is a confirmed bug on Mac Retina display : https://sourceforge.net/p/djv/bugs/22/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
.

Re: Excellent image sequence player
Anyone knows a solution if I wanted to see a sequence of frame with sound with it?
I know I could simply make a file with an editing software but the idea was just to get quick preview.

A sequence of frame don't have sound by definition. You should outpout a video to mix sound and images. But there is solutions to play sequences of frames (duduf frame player or fcheck for exemple) or videos with sound frame by frame (the software in this topic, TV player, duduf player again, others I think).
Working on Windows 10

Yes an alternative to Fcheck (you can load sound along side a sequence of frames) is what I was looking for. Duduf frame player doesnt seem to let sound to be loaded with the image sequence. I guess Ill have to stick to Fcheck for now.

PotPlayer was highly recommended to me (unfortunately for me it is Windows-only , no Mac version , and I'm on Mac). But it looks good.momo wrote:Yes an alternative to Fcheck (you can load sound along side a sequence of frames) is what I was looking for. Re: Excellent image sequence player
If you're searching for a good player, which can play a lot of formats and can play videos frame-by-frame potplayer is a good choice. For animation reference DJV has some great features like zooming and taking a snapshot of one image and view it on another frame (sorry I don't know how to explain it in english). However it's great for comparing two frames.
