Cartoon Saloon
We are currently recruiting for a 2D character animator for a short film that we are making as part of the Frameworks initiative.
Duties:
-Applicant must be capable of taking the lead position on one of 2 characters on the project.
-Working with the director to create a character driven performance in accordance to character model sheets provided and style of the piece.
-Must be able to work to given deadlines/quotas. Have the ability for fast turnaround on any retakes issued.
-Must be very organized, detail-oriented, and have good communication skills.
Submission requirements:
- All applications to be sent to leop@cartoonsaloon.ie
-Provide a showreel demonstrating a strong understanding of animation principles and performance.
-Applicants proficient in TVPaint preferable
-Ability to work in-house preferred, but not required
As this is specifically a 2D animation position CG reels will not be considered.
This is a full-time position lasting 8-10 weeks
