Hi! I have a couple of questions. I am a student and I am making a hand-drawn animation (in TVPaint, of course) for a final class project. The output needs to be good quality (not great), and playable on a Mac or PC (preferably a Quicktime file).
Question #1: Can anyone recommend an AUDIO software program that will allow me to obtain and make simple edits with sound effects? I see Adobe is coming out with a "Production Creative Suite" in the next couple months. As a student I can get that at a discount, but I need something now! Any recommendations? Does Premiere Pro have audio editing capabilities?
Question #2: Do people working with TVPaint utilize TVPaint from start to finished product? Obviously, one would need some sort of software to create audio, right? And what about the finished product, are people putting it all together in TVPaint, or something like Premiere Pro, for example, with titles and such? Any recommendations or ideas would be great!!!
Thanks again!
Marc

I second cresshead on Audacity, imihsas wrote:... Can anyone recommend an AUDIO software program that will allow me to obtain and make simple edits with sound effects?
it's a very popular freeware sound editor , and existing in multi-OS versions,
it would do the job perfectly for basic edits/effects.
in the high end (professionnal and expensive) class, you have :
Sony's Sound Forge and Steinberg's WaveLab, among others.
