move object with keyboard shortcut

Post by Joost »

For me it would be nice to have the possibility to make a keyboard shortcut for moving an object/image/layer 1 pixel to the left/right/up/down.

For example: Like in after effects, you can move your layer one pixel in the direction you want, using the 'arrow' keyboard shortcuts. And while holding shift, you can move it 10 pixels.

there's a little custompanel in the content sharing section which is basically doing that,
NudgBar.png
NudgBar.png (2.4 KiB) Viewed 9943 times
once the 4 buttons assignated (keys 2, 4, 6, 8 of the numeric pad f.i.),
you can pan the layer content 1 pixel per pixel, in the 4 directions.

of course, you can easily add a "10 pixels" version,
just copy/paste these 4 buttons, and edit the 4 script commands.
