A simple question: when is the next TVPaint 11 going to be released?

I imagine nobody knows exactly but in broad range ( months? years?) Is there a specific rythm at witch the updates are made?

The development of a software is everything but a linear thing ... so it's hard to say.

You need to suscribe to the newsletter to be informed of the next updates, upgrades, events, etc ...

TVPaint Animation 11 is on its way, but the team is very busy (last bugs to fix, last features to add, last interface details to improve, changes to bring to the website, etc...).

We apologize for this "mysterious" way to introduce TVPaint 11, but we worked such a long time on it, that we would rather show it as a whole (with a demo version to test, which is not the case yet), not with spare elements and quick explanations.

So, please be a little patient : I assume your patience will be rewarded

That you worked long on this and want to show the whole thing at it is, instead of little bits is something I can fully understand.
It just feels strange, never heard anything about TVpaint 11, while beeing on the mailing-list and checking this forum nearly every day. So thank you for this post.

But can you tell us something like an approximate date? Just something like "Maybe in two weeks" "In a month" or "in two month"?

As soon as ready, it shouldn't be long from now.

Giving an exact date use to be a nightmare with a lot of bad consequences, we learned it in the hard way.

hi, i'm waiting for tvpaint 11 but am only interested in the pro version, i'm not exactly someone who has much funds and can only push my budget to £300 -£400, will tvpaint 11 be more affordable and can the average person like myself be able to buy? i'd be interested in pro as i'm using mac and windows 8.1/10 with 64 bit, thanks kind regards TUJI-8
