Problem saving and opening projects

Post by kpo134 »

Hello, for the past week, Tvpaint is not saving properly my files, after saving a project and closing it, the program freezes when I try to open it. I'm losing hours of work and I don't know how to solve it, could anyone help me?
Here are the last two projects that I can't open. Can I restore them or are they lost forever? Thank you very much.

Hello,
Your files sounds fine to us : no corrupted data.
the program freezes when I try to open it.
I guess it's more a problem of corrupted configuration when starting TVPaint.
There are various ways to repair it.
I can help, but once again, we need to have some informations :

Ok, you should be able to fix this by holding the [Ctrl] key when starting the software :
It will open the starting panel and from here you will be able to reset your configuration.

(nb : yes, please let us know the exact version number : 10.x.x, it always helps.

You need to keep holding for a longer time than you expect. Eventually the startup screen will open and press the "New" button in there. This resets TVP to factory settings.

You'll most likely have to wait till after the weekend to get an answer from the developers.
