setting image mark + changed file star indication

Post by furushil »

Hello,

currently, if you make a change to your project, a "star" indicates next to the project name that the project has been changed and has not been saved yet.

If you however only set new image marks there is no star indication. So, when you close and open the project all the new image marks are gone.

It would be great, if setting a new image mark would also be considered as a change to the project.

I never noticed this behaviour, but I love to set a lot of image marks

If you have one project file open just for reference, you set many image marks in it and you close it later, you will get a big surprise the next time you open the file.
When you close the file, TVpaint does not know that something has been changed so it gives you no warning and just closes the file.

It's a drag but I think the best solution is to get into the habit of always saving before closing. This way you don't have to save like crazy if you prefer not to-- as long as the last thing you do before closing is to hit save (S+Q; save+quit) The keys are almost next to each other.
