How to hold / restore a grabbed tool ?

My problem :

Make button 1 : Grab Current tool with colors.
Make button 2 : Grab Current tool with colors.

Assign a Keyboard Shortcut to switching between these two buttons.
Can you ?

Can a keyboard shortcut be assigned to a button in a toolbar ?

I thought that storing tool and colors can be done, but i don't have the SDK. Can anybody answer with the specific script ?

I am achieving this now with two CustomBrushes and with Next / Previous Animbrushes keyboard shortcuts, but I want to use the actual Tools : PenBrush, AirBrush.

Hi Nicolae,
You can't create a toggle between 2 custom tools actually but you can assign each of them on a specific keyboard shortcut.
Be sure that your custom tool has a name, then head to the Keyboard Shortcuts panel (Ctrl+K).
Find your custom tool and give it a shortcut.
Do the same with the other tool if it has no shortcut yet.

It's not a toggle but it can still do it for 2 keys that are very close.
