Subtitle Editor

Post by TheQuestionMark »

I wish there's was feature to add in subtitles. Subtitles not likeTV Subtitles. Subtitles you see you in anime such as http://www.crunchyroll.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. Is there a feature where you can input subtitles?

It takes so much work to add in subtitles. I already add in a moving Camera. But as you use the Camera Feature And you see the text shift which I don't want. Is there a way to have Subtitle Feature so the Text Wont Shift? Is there a better way? I think I know the other way buts it too complicated 'The Advance Keyer'? right?

I don't understand why you would need the Advanced keyer or camera to add subtitles. :|

To do so, you have a text tool FX in FX > Rendering.

Is it possible with this to make the text "Stick" or follow the camera?

I have needed this feature a lot something when Im doinf storyboard. the content of the "Dialog" input text will be rendered ontop of my animatic as subtitles. Following the camera movement.
I am actually rendering my subtitles on my exported animatics using ffmpeg , because I thought TVPaint wasn't capable of making text follow the camera.

Do you know you can "Project>Render Camera to a new merged project"
and then put you subtitles there?

When you Add Subtitles and use the Camera the Words Move. Is there a way to to Add Subtitles and not have the Words Move at all? Have Subtitles + Camera and not have the Words Move. I think this "Subtitles Option" Should be Under Cameras. Or either that " ' Audio ' + Subtitles " Option.

Is it possible for anything to follow the camera by the way? Traking something + keyframer?

is this an existing feature?
How would I make this work, Or do I have to write some george script to achieve this?

As for now I use two projects, making use of the xsheet function. The clip with the camera movement is nested in a project with the titles. No need for rendering here. Yet I have to toggle between the two ...
