Custom panel-Open and close the colour variations panel?

I'm trying to open and close the color variations panel from a custom panel. I've opened and closed numerous other panels using the set keystroke interface command but there doesn't seem to be an equivalent for color variations. Is it possible?

I think you are right. There is no key command for open close or toggle the color variation panel. +1 for a feature request
