Smaller, sleeker USB dongle
On my wish list is a dongle that is more flush with the USB port of my laptop. I have a slightly irrational fear that I will break or bend the dongle when I am using it sticking out of my laptop. I have seen tiny USB dongles for things like wireless mice, and I don't know whether the Sentinel technology can fit into that size, but I thought I would mention it anyway.

What is slower than everything in development ?
Safenet Sentinel for sure ...
It sounds like we finally received such dongle prototype + related software ... 2 weeks ago ... , but they made our windows crash the first time we plugged them on a computer.
Thanks for the reminder anyway, I will push Safenet again soon.

I'm at least glad to hear that there is some movement on this subject! I am also contemplating getting a small Windows-based tablet, and many of them lack a fullsize USB port. Thanks for the update.

Re: Smaller, sleeker USB dongle
While I continue to be thrilled with the adaptability of TVP on the Asus Vivotab Note 8, the USB dongle issue remains somewhat frustrating. The device has only 1 USB port, which is also its charging port, so it is not possible to run TVP with the device plugged in. USB splitters do not work for this type of port, so it is a matter of working in TVP for a while, then taking a charging break.
This problem isn't terrible, of course (taking breaks is usually a good idea when animating ), but it makes me wish for a "nomad" license for Windows tablets as well as Android.

Appart from that, we are slowly advancing regarding the dongle problems.
It's still in the TODO list.

Re: Smaller, sleeker USB dongle
I don't understand the electronics, but according to people who have tried to solder/splice a cable that will work (discussed in this forum http://forum.tabletpcreview.com/asus/61 ... -time.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;), the port can't handle both hosting a USB connection and charging. It's a microUSB port, not designed to do many things at once, I suppose?
I know you have many items in your TODO list, thanks for keeping this in mind. Your work is appreciated.
