Demo Importing?

Hi, I have the TV Paint Pro 10 demo? I cant find an import button( just "Open...") and it won't let me import into the project.

I can click or drag something into the stage but I don't see anything? It's just still blank and white.
Am I not doing something right—or is it this demo restricting me?

why bother with two buttons ?
"open" can also be used for importing.

but ok, it's a localisation issue that need to be fixed.

tvpa demo version is "saving-restricted", but afaik no loading limitation.
(the only loading limitation is regarding your hardware memory available and your OS)

btw, you didn't tell us what you are precisely trying to import ?
a sound, a video file, a frame, ... a sequence of frames ?

anyway, to import some image material into your current project,
you must clic the [Clip] tab or the [Layer] tab from the "Import Footage" panel,
if you stay on the [Project] tab, it will open your video/image(s) file in a new project.
