You may want to improve your spam blocking. Some ideas, if you not already use them, are here:

I think it would be nice if it was allowed to upload ".tvpp" files as attachments in the Forums.

Hi Elodie,

I just found a translation error in the title of the german part of the forum.
There is written: "Für die deutsche Gemeinschaft : hilfen Sie sich gegenseitig auf TVPaint."
Better would be: "Für die deutsche Gemeinschaft: Helfen Sie sich gegenseitig mit TVPaint."

But, after thinking a while, the whole title "Deutsche Gemeinschaft" sounds very very oldschool. It sounds a little bit like if it is written in black letters (german letters, Fraktur de lettres gothiques).

I would write:
Deutschsprachiges Forum
Gegenseitige Hilfe mit TVPaint.

It would also working for the other german speaking countries like austria and partly switzerland.

What is Slowtiger thinking about this?
TVPaint 10.5.7 - Win10/64
TVPaint 11.0.8 - Win10/64
TVPaint 11.0.8 - Win10/64 (Wacom Companion 2)

Yes, it is better now, but would be much better if you could also change "hilfen" to "helfen". There is no verb like "hilfen" in the german language :o .

A little improvement on quoting needed:
It would be nice to be able to quote part of a message (and not the full message) in the initial forum thread view, by just selecting that part - just like we can in the message editor view.

When you "Answer" a topic, you can then select a part of the conversation below and quote only a part.

Exactly - I told it in the suggestion, but it would me more convenient if we could do this from the thread view without doing double work. When I am in the message edit window, all the conversation is displayed in a very small window space and the focus of the desired text is lost, so I need to scroll again in this little window without even fully seeing most of the threads. In the thread view I am already focused on what I want to answer and I see the broad view, so I can easily locate and select...

You can extend that little space by dragging the small diagonal bars at the bottom right of it.

thanks, that helps a bit in general, but this is just another click away from my goal, not making the way shorter. Why not just do it immediately from the start?

Because we use phpbb, which is an open-source forum software.
We didn't write it.
