Do you think this automatic behavior should be a parameter (maybe some people just want to move from heads to heads, or images to images ?)
I dont understand?
As I stated in the start of this topic is is a feature request for new Keycommands that work this way.
If Lighttable mode is Instance we (loop) flip between bookmark. No matter if the lighttable is active or not.
If Lighttable mode is Frame we (loop) flip between frames. No matter if the lighttable is active or not.
If the Lighttable mode is bookmark we (loop) flip between bookmark. No matter if the lighttable is active or not.
If the Lighttable mode is Imagemarks we (loop) flip between imagemarks. No matter if the lighttable is active or not.

That the User can assign to waht ever Key the User likes. Ot dont used them if they want

Paul Fierlinger wrote: But I would also VERY MUCH welcome a single pair of key command that would advance left and right to bookmarks, instances or frames -- all depending on what one selects in the LightTable. That would be such a Key Saver!!!
Rereading Paul Comment
This request is simply to colloct the following key commands in 2 KeyCommands(next and previous)
Exposure:Prev Loop
Exposure:Next Loop
Bookmars:Previous (loop)
Bookmarks: Next (loop)
Layer: Go Left (loop)
Layer: Go Right (loop)
ImageMarks: Previous (loop)
ImageMarks: Next (loop)

And the switch for this Keycommands is the lighttable mode. it is that simple. it is a keysaver as Paul says.

Ok.

If we apply such a feature in TVPaint, the "default" behavior (move to frames, heads, bookmarks, etc...) would always depend on the LT, whatever if active or not.

So, we would have 2 key commands :

• arrows keys to move between images (just like now)
• another combination of keys to move between elements chosen in the LT (instances, bookmark, marked images etc...)

Did I get you ?

Yes. I think so. :)
And by the way. I would also like george commands who does the same as the 2 new key commands.
